Navigation Guide:

The Cabana foundation aims to be a cultural organisation synonymous with help and support; an open organisation which works hard to ensure that anybody, regardless of their cultural background, religion, age or sex, can benefit from the advantages that the foundation offers to new writers. In this sense the aim of the foundation is to reach as many citizens with an interest in culture as possible, wherever they may be, and in the 21 st century we are able to do this by making use of new technology. It is unsurprising, then, that the natural home of the Cabana Foundation is in cyberspace. With this aim of crossing boundaries and frontiers, the Cabana Foundation is home to two internet portals, Yoescribo.com and Joescric.com.

The Cabana Foundation also hopes to provide a meeting place for all those people with a lively interest in culture who can in some way help to achieve the Foundation's aim of promoting the world of arts and letters; with this end it makes its headquarters -located in Palma de Mallorca- available for any activity aimed at achieving this objective (training, conferences, debates, cultural gatherings, exhibitions, etc.)

The foundation is based in the Balearic Islands, an autonomous region within Spain which is officially bilingual; for this reason it is considered both a duty and an obligation to help writers from around the world who express themselves in either of the two official languages of the region which is home to the Foundation: Spanish and Catalan. The two internet portals were created with this aim.
